Late season baiting

I have done a little baitng this year with corn. My question is during the late season do I need to bait a stand every day even though I will only hunt a
twice a week? Usually I only put a ice cream bucket full out when I hunt the
stand, the corn is always gone the next time I hunt it. Will the twice a week keep them coming back to check the spot?

My experience with baiting up in michigan is it will take aabout a day (or overnight) for the deer to find it, if you just bait it once in a while. If you bait it everyday for a long enough time you will make the deer from a habbit and they will continoue to go there in search for food. Good luck, i hope this helped.

I put out a sack of corn every week. A sack weighs about 120lbs. Sometimes it is gone in 3 -4 days, sometimes it is gone in a week but I don't put out anymore than that.

To get deer to find the bait quicker use Sweet Feed or something like that with molasses and high protein in it.

I'd also suggest baiting more than twice a week, espcially with the little corn you put out each time. Get them coming in for it and keep em coming back to it.
