[:' (][:' (][:' (][:' (][:' (][:' (] hey all questions abound, was going in bowhunting this morning and when i went to cross the creek there was a deer laying in the creek dead.it was dark still so i pulled it out and on the way out i looked at it and found no reason for the deer dying, not busted up ie; car hit , no slug holes or arrow holes to be seen .it was this years fawn a button buck????? called conservation and they said leave it be they were not concerned and did not want to come and look at it . i quess i could open it up before i bury it and see i i can determine what killed it? any ideas ????????? thanks in advance

well the mystery is over pulled it away from the hunting area and cut it open and he must have been hit by a car intestines busted open no blood but stomach matter throughout only hope he did not suffer too long . happy it was that and not some disease .

Thats what I would have suggested, I saw a buck get hit one time, it was a decent buck, it hit the side of the road and lay down then died after a few mins. The lady that hit it told us we could have it, after we asked. It did not have a mark on it. Not a scratch. When we skinned it, one side of the deer was bruised badly, all the hit side meat was bloodshot and purple, We found that the car had brokeen its ribs and punctured the lungs.
