I usually see 'em for around $475. They used to be in Cabela's and Bass Pro, but I just ran upstairs to look through 'em for you, and didn't see it listed in any of the latest issues. $475 is pretty close though; the pro's right. If it's in great shape, it is a steal.

If the bow is in good shape, $175 is a steal. I had one for about 2 years and shot it very well. If it doesn't have limbsavers on it, get some. The bow is a little loud without them. Limbsavers quiet it right down.

I had a Carrera Lightning Cam back in the first year they were introduced. I paid $475 for mine with the PSE Brush camo. The cost was about $10 more for the Mossy Oak Breakup...and about $50 more for the original Orion Cam...unweighted. Prices fluctuated over the last few years but I think $475-$500 would be a good estimate.

The bow is somewhat sensitive to shooting errors because of the low brace height but it wasn't as unruly as some other short brace height bows that I have shot.

For $175 and in good condition I would grab it...it is a steal.

They sell on ebay for about $275-$375 used. I just sold one of mine on there for $380 but it had the NV system on it. Forget the limb savers, have the NV installed if you want to tame down the Carrera.

Thanks for that post, after seeing all the good things on that bow I bought it and will tell you more after next hunting season.

go for it!!sounds like a sweet deal--as long as the bow is in good shape and doesn't nedd any money--but even if it's a small $amount--you got a good deal.
