Great hunt!!!

I' ve read some articles about people putting little tic-marks on everything so they can move everything back to the original position.

I would like to say I have done that, but I think you have to have gone through what you have gone through to do it.:D

Cool. That' s where I went wrong. I almost dropped my bow from the tree last Friday when I was cleaning the snow off it. Then I missed a deer. If I had dropped it I probably would have drilled him square. At least since I was down I would have broken off that pesky limb.

Great story and a stud looking deer.

You said you were out of state. Where were you hunting?

I have to give you alot of credit. You sacrificed 30$ in broadheads just to make sure your bow was accurate for a clean kill. Alot of people would have guessed and ended up wounding that deer and it would have died in a field somewhere never to be seen again. I just want to say thanks and congratulations for being an ethical hunter.

I just love it when they start to get those muscular shoulders and put on some mass. Great deer. Georgia has some awesome deer. I lived there for 8 years and hunted alot around the Flint River where they originally stocked all the big Wisconsin deer in their restoration program. When they first reopened the season in some of the areas where they had stocked and allowed no hunting for years some real bruisers were taken. The years of breeding with the smaller Southern deer have changed the herd but they still grow them big with the good blood lines.

Every year I drop something out of the tree, including the bow! However, it never turned out that good for me, so way to go!!!! Nice buck and way to pull it together to keep the hunt going.;)

Sight is waaaaayyy low. I put it back to where I think it goes
Ddubyou, first off congrats on the nice buck! i notice that you have a trophy ridge sight, well the windage and elevation bars have numbers on them , you should make note where they are at when you done sighting your bow in ,this way next time you wont have to trash those expensive broadheads !
