When did Altzheimer and Moon Phase people predict the rut this year?

I could have sworn they predicted an early rut this year, but all the action is going later here in Maryland, and nonexistent up until now in WV....

Dunno about predictions...from the sources you mentioned but read that peak would fall the week after the 9th....dunno.
I did witness breeding on the 8th in Nicholas Co., WV and saw continued chasing on Monday of this week.

I feel your pain!!! I haven' t seen any chasing, running...anything!!! I know the rut in SW OH is probably on the tail end, but man it has been rough. From what I read and people I talked to, they say the rut was going to be later than usual...but who knows!!!

This has been a goofy year for just about everyone. Seems like we' re all experiencing unusual activities this season. Our season ended this past Saturday here in PA. Seems like things are still going with the rut.

My buddy called me this morning whispering from his treestand here in Maryland. The rut is going on now, and he can' t remember any time it was this LATE. He claims it is always bout 5 to 10 days after the full moon, which may be right. I didn' t think Altzheimer was right this time, but wasn' t sure.

I think the deerdummies made this years predictions. They been sitting in my stand all summer patterning bucks with nothing going on in their heads. I told them to keep their mouths shut!

In my section of S.W. Pennslyvania, (Greene County) the heaviest activity was around the 7th and 8th of November from my observations. If you saw a doe group a buck was in tow for sure. Bucks were also bedding with does. The following week, things had slowed down some for sure. Un******ed doe groups were more the norm. The bucks were still up moving about, and I saw a couple, but I believe most of the does were already bred. It does seem to be lingering on here around Plum though....I have been seeing some deer on the way to work in the morning going across the road....Ouch!

I thought I missed it in Md by work makeing me work the first week in Nov. When I was able to take the second week I didn' t see much going on so I thought it was over for the most part. Boy was I wrong. It' s happening now.
