I' m new here, I' m just getting into bowhunting myself. I recently bought a PSE (not sure the model) off of a friend, haven' t gotten a chance to hunt with it yet...our season starts next week. Off to read a little more now.

I would suggest you give this season a miss and do a lot of practice for next season.
Because you have to get familuar with the bow plus build confidence in your shooting ability as well as know your effective range.
