Ok... one hint per person, or a simple suggestion perhaps learned from experiance.....

My tip of the year :

ALLWAYS keep your bow ready, arrow knocked, in your lap.....

I missed a huge buck because I set my bow down last week because y son kept trying to talk to me...... and thats when mossy horns walked under us and my son looked at me and simply said, " Daaaaaaad" he was stunned, as was I..... I always have my bow ready and the one time I dont......

So thats my tip of the year.

Always carry a pee bottle...or in davidmils case, toilet paper.

Cornfields Cornfields Cornfields - find an area that doesn' t get hunted and get permission to hunt it!!!

Always look for ways to improve yourself to become a better hunter.

A good, cheap cover scent if you hunt near pine thickets is pure gum turpentine. A little dab on the bottom of each pant leg is all you need!

Listen very hard after a well hit deer is out of sight. I have had 2 deer in the last two bow seasons fall (pile up) within earshot. It is a beautiful sound. The other two in the last two years were loong tracking jobs.
