Nice NY Southern Tier Buck...
 

my hunting buddy tagged this nice buck in the NY southern tier after a 2-3 mile track job...horrible shot placement, but we stuck to him, and finally got him. He ended up doing a huge circle, ending up within 150yds of the initial shot :)

167lbs (Very big for the area), 17" spread, 9 points, lots of mass, aged at 2 1/2-3 1/2 years (rough guess), His biggest buck :D

Awesome buck for the area, I' m thinking at least 3 1/2 years. Average in the area is onbly 1 1/2. Did you take him on public or provate land?

Nice buck and look at the snow. I' m envious of the snow. I bet that helped with the track job. Way to perservere!
