Best night of bowhunting ever!
Me and a buddy went to one of my spots tonight. I had hunted it once last week and had two does come in to about 5 yards but they never gave me a shot. So, i left it alone and we got out there about 5:15 and sat. He was on a bucket and i was on a chair right in the open on the edge of a cliff. About 5:30 i look over and about 50 yards away, theres a buck standin there! So, i grab my video camara thinking hes goin to bold since he was looking right at us. No, he came too us! He walked to withen 8 yards and turned broadside. My buddy, who had never shot a deer with a bow got ready, drew, and sent an arrow through both lungs. All of its on video too! This is the best hunt ive ever been on, and to share it with my friend makes it 10 times better. Just thought i would share this with yall. The deer dressed at 120 pounds, was about 2 1/2 years old, was a main frame 8 but had some kickers so he was an 11 point. I think he' ll score about 105.
