Okay guys,

Today I got new video capturing software today and I finally figured it all out and got a video on the internet. I just checked it on my dads computer and this one works, unlike the other one, so, check it out here!!!!!!!!!

That video is pretty cool. Where you on the ground when you took it?

Bear Story: My family was on vacation once near Long Lake NY. Everywhere we went we saw t-shirts that said " I Saw The Bears At The Long Lake Dump." Finally we asked where the dump was. So we headed up there at sundown and sure enough the parking lot was filled with cars and people and the dump was filled with black bears. There was about an 8 foot embankment from the parking lot to the dump where the bears were.

People seemed to think that they were in a zoo and that the bears were tame. They were throwing marshmellows at ' em and getting them to come right up to the top of the embankment. One guy was even trying to get his kid (about 5) to go over near the bear to get a photo.[:o]

Suddenly, like a wave at a ballpark everyone started jumping in their cars and the wave was coming towards us. Come to find out a big bear had somehow gotten around to the backside of the parking lot and was running through scaring the heck out of everone (including myself as I was about 8 at the time). :D

Anyone know if the dump is still a tourist attraction up there?

The footage was shot on the ground, but, I was inside the truck :D I did have the windows all the way down though (attempting to sound ultra macho) :D:D

It just amazes me how little he cared about the light, or us! He was just yards away when that footage starts and he just casually walks away!
