best portable stand
where I hunt You can' t use a climber in many places. I also like to hunt as many places as possible so what I have done is spiked about 25 different trees in my 2 or 3 hunting areas and carry in my API hang on stand w/ the strap and sinch down belt. I have never had another stand, is ther a better one out there. I want somthing that is light, easy to hang, comfotable and sturdy.

RE: best portable stand
I got a lone wolf stand this year and I love it! It is very light, nice large platform, platform is all one piece so it doesn' t make any noise. It comes with a built in bow holder, thick foam cushion, backpack straps. It really is a great stand.

Thanks, I have seen them in bass pro but didn' t know how easy they are to put up, take down, and pack in, I have some stands pretty far back in the woods.

RE: best portable stand
I have used a variety of different portable stands. I always thought they were all the same until I spent the money on a lone wolf. Youll never regret it. The only minor problem with it is it has 2 straps and hook you have to keep track of.
It is so amazingly quiet and can be set up in so many idfferent angles you will never need another portable. |

RE: best portable stand
Lone Wolf is the way to go!! Especially if you have picked your spots out beforehand. They sell hanging straps that have a hanging bracket which makes for quick and quiet placement of your stand during the season. Even if you haven' t had the time to do your preseason scouting it is still quiet, quick and easy.
