shooting from a tree or the ground

I heard a guy the other day say that shooting from a tree the and the angle of ther arrow that say a 25 yard shot you would just use your 20 yard pen because of gravity and the arrow is traveling down not flat as if you were on the ground. Most of my stands are from 15-25 feet in the air. Is this true. I practice from on top of my house but I am limited on how far I can shoot. What is your experience?

IMO 20 yarda is 20 yards flat or on an angle. Just make sure you bend at the waist. I would really suggest shooting from your trees to get comfortable. Shooting from your roof will help but I always shoot from my stands before I hunt them.

thanks man, I always shoot an arrow w/ a field tip on it write before I get down but only from 10-15 yards so I don' t loose an arrow. That tends to help me be comfortable from above.
