I have 2 sets of binocs that it happens. On the good set, it's a matter of changing the angle of the eye pieces relative to your eyes. Adjust them a little wider or narrower and see if it improves. And, I have an old, cheap set that the internal mirrors occasionally get mis-aligned and will align themselves if I slap the binocs on the heal of my hand. That's all I've got for you.

if you are seeing double the problem is most probably due to the binoculars being out of columnation ( each barrel is looking at a different spot)
