are pine forests better in hot weather

I have a property that is partially made up of a section that is 100 percent pine trees. I have heard pine forests are cooler than other types of forests like hardwood or mixed. Would this be a good bet for hot weather?

I can't say about hot weather but I can tell you the property I hunt has about 40 acres of pines and in cold windy weather that is the place to find the deer.

That's a good question. I suppose I don't ever hunt weather hot enough to have thought about it. Maybe some of the southern boys will have a better answer.

Like OT,. I have a few pine sections I like to still hunt on nasty days or anytime the snow is deep.

The deer always bed down in them pines when the weather is crappy. I've shot several in there bed in pine trees.
