Not much difference between the 2 at all, I pick the Viper over the API only because of the cable hook-up, its a whole lot easier than trying to thread the pins thru a chain on the API, but as far as comfort they are about the same.

Definely the tree lounge! But, mines the old one and hard to climb with. I leave mine in the tree during the season. But man it' s comfortable![8D]

I would rate them about the same as well. I have an API Bowhunter and a Summit Revolution. The Summit has a slight lead in terms of comfort but only because of the foot rest. Take that away and I would call it dead even.

I have a API grand slam and like it ,the only problem is it' s a little small for me , I' m kinda big 6' and 250, I have big legs and have found that it gets a little tight sometimes. I have been pondering a Old man stand.
Other than that it' s confortable and I always hunt all day. Jim

A buddy of mine has an API GS Bowhunter and thinks it' s the most uncofortable thing on the planet. He hunted out of my backup stand --a Viper -- and he told me he was getting himself a Summit for next year! I' ve used his climber before and I feel the same way about it....now, if API changed their seats a bit it could only be an imporvement.
