Where were you at........if you dont mind me asking......not trying to horn in its just that im from Hays and have had many of the same experiences.
No the Neosho river is in eastern ks two totally different terrains.
Just another little piece of advice there ks, remeber our briliant wildlife and parks agency outlawed the use of radios in comunicating the where abouts of wildlife.
but i wouldnt sweat it i dont think it was meant to stop what you were doing, we had problems out here with coyote hunters in trucks comunicating with deer..........SHOOTERS...notice i didnt call them hunters. and telling them where the deer were going to come running out.
Good luck and if you ever get up around Hays give me a hollar i know some good public land that doesnt see much pressure that has some awsome deer on it.
