find prime land, hunt smart, be skilled at your end of things, on finding deer, being scent wise, move slowly, and be good with the weapon you decide to use

learn all you can, get yourself in the woods NOW and practice finding and getting close to deer , do it now and come hunting season it will be a LOT easier!

I have favored gag loader chasing, which in PA is from the day after Christmas to mid-January. The deer are by and large frightened and elusive, so you need to discover them.
I was thinking about what deer, explicitly whitetail, do in certain climate conditions.
I realize that on chilly, bright days, they like to lay in the sun, and ideally out of the breeze. Be that as it may, on days like today where we have a downpour/snow blend, there appear to be no deer in the forested areas. Does anyone know where I may discover some in such conditions? My underlying idea was in bushes, yet a large portion of those where I chase are practically impervious. On the off chance that anyone can offer a few hints on the most proficient method to discover deer on poor climate days, they would be highly valued.
