ever not shoot your bow for a while?

about 1 month ago i got a new 101st, and i hadn't shot my old bow for quite awhile. its been like the first few weeks after you start working out. you use muscles that you normally don't use and i have been sore. anyways its been kind of funny. i wondered if anyone else has ever felt this way?

Always that way.
It won't take long for you to get back into archer's shape.
Get over the hump and then work on refining your skillset... you'll soon be shootin much tighter.
Welcome back

I only practiced with a recurve for a few months one time.

Completely ruined me for shooting my compound.

Two different animals. Now I try to practice both when I have time so that I don't lose form on either

I'm currently rehabing an elbow injury and I'm really worried about the drop off when I get back to shooting my bow. So far it's been a month and a half. It's slowly healing,

I always take a break from Feb-July

Always have a break, to cold after hunting to go outside and shoot!

When I start up again I focus on form. I know where my bad habits sneak in, so I try to get infront of that, that allows building strength as I go.
