Is the rut on in pa?

I haven' t been able to get out in the last week, and with the hot weather its not helping. Is it in full swing? is it worth going out even in this hot weather?

Not sure if it' s in full swing yet but i was out spotting last night and seen 3 different bucks in the fields with their nose on the ground chasing does.

I am still seeing late pre-rut behavior here.

more responsive to buck grunts from the feedback I am getting. My buddy got an 8 point on sat he said he grunted buck rushed in and peed in his scrape. then he grunted again and he came to 15 feet. And then it was over but my observations from this tell me they are starting to get territorial, neck was not swollen and tarsal glands not that dark. the rut doesn' t appear to be in full swing in my area.
