wind direction
What is the best way to find out the wind direction for either the morning hunt or the afternoon hunt. Every time i look the night before then when i go out in the morning and come back in around 10:00 am the direction of the wind the night before shows that the wind was really blowing a different way.

One of the ways I plan hunts is by going to both my local weather, like a tv stations web page, and then weather.com. On www.weather.com you put in the zip of where you will be hunting and then select the Hourly button. This will then show you what the wind forcast is hourly instead of just the normal morning/afternoon prediction.
I also find this handy if rain is forcast. You get more insite instead of the general showers expected in the morning tapering to partly cloudy...bla bla bla that the news gives you.

I' ve read some where of a spray that is like a fine filamet that you spray into the air and you can actually watch if drift away. it is supposed to be odorless but I can' t seem to find it anywhere. If anyone knows what it is or where to get it please post it. I' ve about given up my quest to locate the stuff.

Look half way down the page > www.wildlife.com.
Actually I use the same kind of stuff but the bottle doesn' t look like that. Not sure who makes the one I am using but I bought it at a Meijer store. I think it is just a talcum type powder.
