I don' t do my arms but I do do my fiancees areas, hey if you can' t shoot a deer might as well go for a beaver.
I end up with about half of my left arm bald by the end of deer season.

I shave my arms every time. That and the fact that that' s the way I test broadhead sharpness on all my test heads makes my arms smooth as a babys butt! When I get " low on arm hair" I go to the leg, but I do have several dogs that look at me funny when I come near them with a broadhead[

I use replacement blades on my broadheads, but I still test them first on my arm. My knives are what' s responsible for removing most of my arm hair. Bald spots all over the left one!
