Is this driving you guy' s crazy ?
 

It' s been in the mid 80' s the last 4 days here in central NC. Movement is allmost non-existent. As far as I' ve seen , it will be low 70' s for most of the upcoming week. I' m just curious how the Rut' s going to turn out with the crazy weather pattern. This is my 2nd year hunting bow only and I' m not sure how productive it' s going to be. I' ve got half a freezer full from Sept. and I need at least 1 more to fill it up before season' s out. Not to mention the 10 point I' ve got pic' s of , but have yet to see. I' ll just keep my fingers crossed. What are the plan' s of attack you guy' s are planning on using ? By the way , I want to thank each and every one of you guy' s and girls for all of the helpful knowledge you have passed out over the years. It' s turned all of my friends and myself into more experienced hunters.:)

Yeah, this weather has got to go! Even if it wasn' t hunting season I' d still be asking for cooler weather. I' m not a fan of warm weather. ;)

Looks like we should cool down this week. I can' t wait.

New York is going the same way.When I climbed into my stand Sat.morning it was around 48 degrees.That was at 5:45.It only got warmer from that point on.Not one single deer around.I was bothered by BLACK FLIES,,,this November,,right ??[X(]

Droptines, i got a couple misquito bites tonite..... Illinois isnt having great weather either, bout 80 or so today.

I had mosquitoes buzzing in my face Sat. evening too--it was 81 degrees with 75% humidity. They' re forecasting new record highs for Monday and Tuesday here followed by 3 days of rain and only slightly cooler temps which will still be about 10 degrees warmer than normal. I' m wasting all my leave time for this with nearly no sightings and sign drying up. All the movement is nocturnal now.

Sounds like the weather is the same everywhere. I just got back from 10 days in the mountains elk hunting (with a rifle, sorry). But the highs were in the high 60' s and 70' s everyday, and that was at 10,000 ft elevation. Tough to get them moving when it is that warm. Hang in there, its bound to turn around soon.

I' m going hunting in the morning supposed to be 22 degrees here.Sooner or later it' s gonna cool you guys down.

It was a record high day when I shot my elk 2 weeks ago in Colorado. I shot him at 2 in the afternoon on top of that. You can' t kill em if you aren' t out there! In the last two years, I' ve been on hunts where I expected poor weather and got record highs, both hunts were very successful.

I hunted last night. 87 degrees 100% humidity and will remain in the mid 80' s for at least the rest of the week. It' s 10 degrees above normal and the no-see-ems will eat you alive. Deer movement is non-existent. I have only take 2 does, 1 hog and not even seen a buck.
