Default My 2017 bull moose

Here's a short video of my bull moose from 2017:

As all my friends and family have kidded me - my moose was significantly smaller than my wife's 2017 bull (51" wide compared to about 14"). Also she made quite a bit better shot than I did, but if you watch the video, you'll see I had somewhat of an excuse - it was the first time I'd shot my bow in two weeks. I did manage to get it on three camera angles, which was cool.

I was super stoked to have had to opportunity to get a shot, as two weeks before I wasn't sure if I was going to be out of commission for longer. I also didn't have to pack any of my moose out (1 km uphill) - which was a first. Thank goodness for wives and good friends (who will come out on a Sunday night to help you pack moose)!

That was one of the better youtube hunting videos I've ever seen. Very nice.

Congrats on the moose and your speedy recovery.

AJ thanks for sharing. Next time don't shoot so close to the shoulder.. . But it was very obvious that he got your adrenaline flowing after that first shot. That's the rush that wants us to keep on hunting. Awesome...congratulations.

Thanks - I work hard to get good footage and it's nice when it all works out.

Yea, not my best shot; I'm usually better, but it happens.

Absolutely, my adrenaline flows the same whether its a big bull or a WT doe - that's what keeps you going throughout the year and gets you out of bed in the wee hours.
