Gut pile
 

My friend shot a buck yesterday morning at 7:45. We tracked it and while he dressed it out I went to my pickup to get my cart to haul it out. We were out of the woods by 9:30.
I was hunting the afternoon and he said he was going to sit on the gut pile and see if any coyotes came in. When I got home he called and told me that he went out at 4:00 and everything except the stomach was gone. Sounds more like a bear to me. We have several in the area.
BTW he used Slick Trick broadheads and got a complete pass through despite having it break the off shoulder! He was shooting 65# @ 28" and the shot was 15 yards.
