All Day on Stand, what' cha eating?
 
I' m getting ready to spend 4 days in a tree. I' m thinking 2 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, some beef jerky and a bottle of water per day.

What do you take?

Thats what I take, but I ended up getting bored and at all my food before i got hungry.

beef jerky, trail mix, water.

i used to take sandwiches but i would eat them waaaay before lunch so now i just take stuff that i can munch on all day long.

Depends on how far from home I am hunting. Usually I' ll just take a sandwich, bottle of water and a piece of fruit. If I' m going to be far away I take extra just in case something happened. Never know when it might be needed.

oh yeah - sunflower seeds.

they are great for passing the time, just make sure to have enough water with you

I think snacking all day (with plenty of water) is the trick. Just use containers that aren' t noisy is just as important.

AND just as important, where are you urinating?

Sometimes I bring an empty milk jug but find it cumbersome.

What do you all do?

I like to take a MRE and a bottle of water. The new mre' s with the heater are pretty good on a cold day.

Since I work out regularly and try to retain as much muscle as possible when away from the Gym, I eat protein bars such as myoplex or pure protein bars. Muscle loss can begin rather quickly without protein. CArb up at breakfast and midday for energy, but sustain protein every 3-4 hours at a minimum.

LOL..Badatta, Why dont you just bring a dumbell up to your stand so when you get bored you could pump out some one arm curls to make sure your muscles dont shrink. I love cold fried chicken, an apple, sunflower seeds all in ziplockbags(less noise) also take a smoll thermus of coffee.
