Here is Josh Beckett, 23 years old, just won the World Series, just named World Series MVP,and what does he say? " Man I can' t believe we won' t be playing tomorrow. Now I can go Deer Hunting." :D
Here is this kid, and all the instant fame hasn' t taken him from something he probably grew up with. I AM NOW A JOSH BECKETT FAN. Hope he gets a big buck!!!!!!!!;):D:)[8D]

My father in law and I were out in the middle of Missouri on a cabin spending the whole weekend bowhunting for deer and he made the comment... At first, I thought ' I must be extremely tired... I could had sworn he said he wanted to be deer hunting...' and then my father in law said ' Did he just say he was going to go deer hunting?' It was pretty funny. I am not a baseball fan, but I am not likely to forget this game six anytime soon.. I am sure my grrand children will hear about it.

I was soooooooooooo happy to see the almighty yankees lose!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And Josh Beckett was super in the playoffs and world series, Iam happy for him and the Marlins orginazation.
The only reason Mussina signed with the yankees, is he thought he was going to get an easy world series ring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, Moose was on TV back when he was with Baltimore, and said how money wasn' t anything, he was in it for the team, he couldn' t see himself leaving Baltimore, etc. Yeah Right! Got the almighty dollar and the gleam of a World Series ring in his eyes, and off he went!
The look on his face, when they loss to the Diamondbacks, was priceless!

Way to go Marlins!
