....... civilization ended, and you had to hunt for your food. What weapon would you choose, and why?

Bow?

Rifle?

Handgun?

Muzzleloader?

Shotgun?


Remember, civilization has ended, so supplies would be very limited.

Easy....12 ga pump. Can use shot or slugs and is pretty darn intimidating when you jack one home in personal protection situations.

You can hunt anything from deer to squirrels, birds to rabbits

But if I had to choose out of the one' s you listed then it would be rifle. I would just have to live off of deer meat or bloodshot rabbit.

Okay, I fixed it. Remember though, with the end of civilization as we know it, supplies are not going to be an endless source.

Being civilization has ended..........there will be no more shells and bullets.......I' d say my bow with my carbon arrows........as long as I didn' t lose them I could kill my food for quite a while.:D

Still use my shotgun. I got enough ammo to feed the next 2 or 3 generations.[:-] After that... they' re on their own. I can always make a bow if need be. I' m not sure what I' d have to be using for strings... I guess some dried hides.:D
