Missing property line

This year I aquired a new 100 acre hunting lease. I have been able to identify 3 of the 4 boundry lines. The owner is not able to provide any assistance locating the missing boundry line. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to find the property line?

If it is private property there should be a survey on file at the local court house. Check with the registar of deeds maybe?

The adjacent landowners may be able to help you. At least maybe give you an " about here" idea of where the corners are. Politeness and thank you' s really go a long way and may lead to more generous use of some of their property!

agree with ostdc - you can get the name of the owner from the county clerk.
