Moon Guide

How many of you guys have and use the moon guide and if you do use it how accurate do you think it is? Do you feel it has helped make you more successful?

The moon phases have been studied by just as many and for just as long. I am a firm believer in the both human and deer responses to this account. As far as my own personal experiences, I know that as a 25 plus yr LEO, we have had several people keep track of our street related incidents and there was an increase during the moon phases. The upcoming times from 3/4 full to full, then back down to 3/4 and less. Talk to EMT/EMS personel and they will tell you the same thing. There has been several people who have tracked deer movements during these times as well and they have seen an increase of deer movement during the various moon phases. May be during the middle of the day, depends. I don't put my entire hunt based on these findings, but I do look at them and take it into consideration for my hunts.

Being a retired LEO myself I agree! A Full Moon is the worst...:)

I don't use a guide but do watch the moon phases to help dictate when I'm going to hunt.
