I respect all of your guys opinions, that's why I come on here and ask. I usually don't shoot fawns either but in this case I think I would make that exception. It would be a great looking trophy in my room and I would proudly display a full body mount to give it the respect it deserves.

Shooting anything just for a mount is very wrong as is posting about it. Do what you want but something is not right.

Oh come on now, Nobody is suggesting shooting anything "just for the mount"

At worst he is considering one deer over another for the mount.

Nope and nope. I can understand wanting a piebald deer since they are so rare in most parts of the country. I will take a fat doe for eating but generally try to get one better than 100 pounds. Most I get are averaging 120 to 130. Good eating and there are plenty of them.

If that's the case everyone should pass big bucks for little deer. No one wants to eat an old tough rutting buck
