RE: What are yalls opinion on the....
I have never shot the bow but If i recall it has a low brace height some thing like 6 1/2 inches. My opinion is stay as close to or above 7 inches as possible.

I' ve never actually shot the babyG but I do shoot a PSE ThunderFlight Express. I bought this bow back about 1994. I hunted Hard for a couple of years and then skipped about 5 years and I' m getting back into it now. For a bow thats 10 years old it shoots great and kills deer. For the money I paid I have absolutely no complaints w/ PSE. I' m sure you' ll find the same with the BABY-G.

The Baby-G is a popular bow amongst my friends. They seem to be well made and shoot consistant. A little too short for me though.

I am currently shooting a Baby-G that I am borrowing from a friend. It is a very fast bow, but it is also pretty unforgiving as well. The low brace height causes it to smack my arm quite often so I can' t shoot it without a guard. The one I have is 70lb, but I had it at 60lbs for a while since I am just starting out and could not pull 70 yet. I just had the pull changed back to 70 and it made a huge difference in the consistency of this bow.
Pros - Small Fast Cons - low brace height unforgiving loud as heck (the guys at my pro-shop keep asking me if I am shooting a 12 guage ;)) |

I just don' t like these short Axle to axle jobs for any kind of shooting. In hunting conditions where odd positions and form and anxiety of the moment can add to the problems of short bows.... it can be disasterous. Personnally, I wouldn' t buy ANY of these 34 inch and minus bows. Mine is 37 1/2. Small enough and very forgiving with a little practice and experimentation to see what the inherent problems can be. Low brace height is not as critical a factor as some make it out to be.... especially if you' re shooting off a Muzzy Zero.[:-]

RE: What are yalls opinion on the....
Well, I have heard mixed reviews from about everybody but most have been positive. The fact that it is so short which makes it a bit unforgiving has been the biggest or most common complaint I have heard.
Reguardless, I will have a year to practice with it and and Jeff(one of my buddies) has a bunch of PSE sights and accessories that he will most likely sell me cheep:D SO, I purchased one off of e-bay for $202.50:D I look at it like this, if I get it and shoot it and dont like it, I can sell it. Gary(one of my other buddies) thinks I could, if I need to, I could prolly get $350-$300, at the least $250 out of it so I decided to go for it. Im waitin for his e-mail right now to work out the details on paying him[8D] |

If you find you need any other PSE accessories your buddy doesn' t have... I probably got them and they' d be real cheap. I shot PSE for 25 years or so. Great reliable bows but I' m now shooting a Darton. I still have a PSE SR1000 for my backup.
