i sprayed it in walmart and it smelled like regular bug spray
it says it is scentless

It works really well, I use it while bear hunting and its hard to get by a bears nose.

I used their " fall blend" scented bug spray early in the season. When you first spray it on you can detect a little bug spray smell, but then it fades to the fall blend scent. It seemed to work well for me. I didn' t get close enough to anything to get a shot while using it, but I didn' t get busted by anything either.

It' s also possible that you got busted without even knowing it and that is the reason why you didn' t see anything. I used it my first morning hunting and the does wouldn' t come near me.
