We have been using these at-home camo dipping kits for several years now (www.camodipkit.com) and have made a profession out of it. Many have asked about tips and techniques to make the job go easier. I am starting this thread to answer any questions you might have about camo dipping at home... So ask away....

I'm interested in this but how do you get the forest pattern on a gun stock with leaves and branches etc. just by dipping?

Never really got interested in a camo dip
 

Had for twenty some years, a good enough camo job of the bow, put on by the manufacture.
Holding the bow quietly became important for me.

Yes it is a special transfer film that puts the images onto the items when you dip them

Have used several of these kits... They work great!!!

Just got a realtree camo dip kit and a mossy oak camo dip kit from them... LOVE IT...

I'll second that the home camo dip kits are awesome
