In your opinion who makes the best deer call?
 

I have a true talker.I like the sounds it makes but have not called a deer in yet in 2 years of trying.The Bowgrunter Plus by Away Hunting would leave your hands free but I' m not sure how loud it is.If you could choose just one deer call what would it be?Thanks

Just one to have and you already have it;) The True Talker would be my only pick for ease of use and multiple calls it is capable of making:D

I have the Bowgrunter Plus. You do have to adjust the reed on this call. It is on the quiet side but I have never had a deer spook from this call due being too loud. I have other calls scare deer due to being too loud. Just my opinion.

I have a Primos Deer Grunt. Made of walnut (?) and maybe 15 years old . The reed
is getting tired but this call has brought in more deer than any others I have used , maybe ten including the Truetalker(which I like).
The distingiushing chraricteristic of the old Primos is you need to blow it relatively soft or it won' t work at all. That said I think most calls are viable for calling in deer,
remeber to keep it subtle...
