White Milky substance in deers chest cavity
My buddy shot a buck last night, and when he was field dressing it the chest cavity had a bunch of white milky substance within it. In my many years of hunting I have never seen anything like this. I'm assuming maybe it was caused by a prior injury and is just an infection. Then I was thinking maybe its lungs were filled with it (pneumonia maybe).
Has anyone ever seen this?

DId it have an odor? I shot a nice 8 point that had a huge puss filled sack on it's back that exploded when I tried to skin it. Made the entire barn stink so bad we were gagging. And I don't gag when I gut things. It was awful and smelled horrible.
