new site during season?

Would it be unwise to get a new site right in the middle of the season?

What thinketh the forum counil?

I would say only if you absolutely need a new sight. Replacing a sight would be much better, in my opinion, than replacing an arrow rest, though. The more time you spend at the range re-sighting in, the less time you have to spend in the woods.:(

If you want to put the time into practicing with the new sights then it' s not a problem. You' ll want to be comfortable with them before taking them in the field. I can speak from experience. I bought a whole new bow with new accessories on the 3rd day of the season. ;)

Like they say if you can put in the time at the range go for it, I had the pro at the bow shop put mine on and I only needed about 5 arrows for him to get me back on track. they can watch you shoot and set them very close it is worth taking it to a pro.;)
