I always wait until I can' t see my fiber optic pin anymore. That' s usually only a few minutes before total darkness. But it' s in those couple of minutes that I can still see enough to pack up everything without needing my light on. That way if any deer come close while I' m packing up, I don' t feel bad since there was no way to make a shot anyway and my light doesn' t scare them away.

I am like most others.. I will remain and pack up close to total drakness. Then I will ease down to the ground if there are no deer around me. I will ease out just as slow and as quiet as I was when I was sneaking in. I know they can see me in the dark just as well as durign light but why draw unneeded attention to yourself by not being as quiet as possible on the way out.
