I don' t think that is the deer. This one was shot by a disabled kid. great deer and great story - but idon' t think it is the world record.

Does B&C accept velvet bucks?

This buck has a 3rd antler - I thought they are not scored by B&C - a freak of nature.

That' s a pretty big deer...not sure about it being the world record, but that sucker sure has some mass...

It' s like a dang moose almost...I woulda loved to shoot it, look forward to seeing what happens to it.

sorry folks, this is not a pic of the possible world record deer shot in iowa during youth season. don' t know where this one came from, but it is quite impressive. no pics of the " albia buck" have been released yet. there are many older pics of the deer on the net, from trail cams and a realtree video. when pics finally are posted, i' ll post a link on the bbs, for everyone

That' s definately not the famed " Iowa Walking World Record" , but a great buck anyways. That rack is amazing, nothing like that here in south-western PA[:' (]

the antlers look bigger than the the hieght of the whole deer thats a good buck i wish id of killed him. i think B&C only accepts typical deer correct me if im wrong but i think that is how it is and trust me thats not typical deer.

Ain' t that the truth ! Our bucks pale in comparison. LOL :) In fact our deer in general seem alot smaller than many other states.

I agree Treedog. I don' t really like it or the ' real' proposed world record from Iowa. They both look like freaks. I definitely prefer the typical racks and love Hanson' s deer much more.

Would I pass up these other two? I don' t know, but maybe.

Now that is some sort of mutant. Holy cow. Wonder if he had buck fever when he pulled off the shot? I can' t imagine it any other way. How in the heck do you stay cool in the presence of a deer like that? Maybe it' s just me because I shoot nothing but little deer...:)

Looks to me like somone with an artistic background got a hold of Adobe Photoshop and is having fun w/ us. I know there are some odd-looking racks out there, but this is a little too much...but I guess anything is possible. It just looks like the rack has been cropped and and the antlers " stretched" ...anyone else have this thought go through their mind besides Wolf killer?

Not the same buck as the " Iowa Walking World Record" . Can' t be!!!!! Great looking deer, but I hope to God he does' nt score as a world record. Ugly looking thing!!!!

:DI know for a fact that is NOT the Albia deer from Iowa. This is a nice deer, but no in comparison to the deer shot in Iowa. Once pictures are released from the Iowa deer, everyone will see that this is not the deer that has caused such a stir!!!

The IOWA record deer is on video on Primetime 6 from Hunters Specialties. I believe that is from 2001. There is a lot of footage of the deer in velvet when he is 3.5 years old. The buck pictured first is not that buck. The Albia buck looks a lot like the Collora Buck from Ohio.

i sure will be glad when all of these albia bucks get sorted out.the guy from canada is claming it to be the albia and the other pic shows a completely different one.maybe rompona is involved in mix.:D
