How long should my arrows be?

Hi, I am new to bow hunting and I am buying new arrows for my 26" draw bow... I don't know what the length of my arrows should be... Any help?

1" past the riser or a little more.

1" past the riser is usually plenty. You really just want enough to keep a safe distance between the broadhead and your fingers.

This exactly. This is approximately were they should be.

No need to go much beyond the riser. I've seen some guys (I was guilty of it too) having their arrows cut so they were back into the riser and just in front of the rest. Keep the business end of the arrow beyond your hand for safety sake. The extra couple fps you get with a 2-3" shorter arrow isn't worth it.
