How long till I can return
 

Shot a doe last Sat. P.M. and I' m wondering how long until I can return and hunt this site. I shot her at about 15 yards and she ran 25 yards from my stand w/ a little blood trail. Can I hunt this same area now since it' s been 9 days? How long would you say it' s safe to wait then hunt again, 3 or 4 days?

A friend of mine shot a doe this weekend, and had deer coming into his stand as he was dragging her out. That said, it probably would be smart to wait a few days, but you should be good to go having already waited 9 days.

Hunt away, 9 days is plenty.

I have killed many a deer in a morning and hunted the same stand in the evening and saw deer. They no more cautious then usual.

Shot 2 Does Friday night and then shot two more does the following morning from the same stand. (This was on a private ranch with quota-doe tags from the state by the way!).
