Predator Brand Camo

I was just wondering if any of you wear this brand and how successful it has been for you. I just read about it today and it looks really good.

I think it would look good in bare tree tops. Definetly something you should look into if that' s what you most usually hunt.

I personally use Mossy Oak Break Up......but you' ll most generally hear ASAT around here.

I am liking the looks of the Predator " Deception" . The ASAT looks pretty cool, I have never hunted in one of those leaf suits.

I think you' re far better off, despite the terrain or conditions, in one of the more open patterns on the market. ASAT, Predator, Sticks-N-Limbs, they are all very similar. I' ve switched to ASAT and am loving the results.

Howler, which pattern are you using? Day One Camo is actually a company from Colorado who makes custom camouflage garments from a variety of patterns. I have a feeling your using Woodhide, one of Day One' s original patterns.

I' ve had close encounters with more than a few wise old bucks and have not been busted once in my fall gray predator. I even walked down an open logging road and came within 50-60 yds of 2 P&Y bucks and 4 does last year. The fall gray will even suffice for early conditions, especially in a treestand. Toss some in a bush and stand back 20-30 yards and squint your eyes. The edges will disappear. Good stuff!

I use Spring Green and Fall Grey. Awesome stuff. Go to graywolfwoolens.com. Best stuff out there. Might be $, but think--You don' t have to maintain the status quo by buying the " new" pattern every year.

what makes the predator so good is the it does breakup the edges. most of the common brands, realtree, etc. brown or green out when you get a certain distance. the asat, predator, simply breaks up your outline. that is the real purpose of camo. I concur with Big Buck on this one and have had many similar experiences.
