......an armadillo with their setup? Don' t get me wrong these are aweful pests at my place. Never tried to shoot one with a bow? Anyone? What happened?

I saw a buddy of mine do it about fifteen years ago.....He had to chase it down to get his arrow back.

An armadillio has a hard shell doesn' t it. I would think you could shoot it in the head, and might get it, unless your bow has some kick a$$ power.

I have , 100 grain magnus did the trick . The same day my buddy shot one with a vortex minimax , it bounced off of the top and I could swear I saw sparks .

Make sure you shoot it with an arrow you don' t mind losing, or getting broken. Usually the arrow goes thru the ' dillo with no problem but then it sticks in the ground and when the ' dillo takes off he will snap your arrow into...

Matthews bow at 65 lbs and a carbon arrow, 3/4 penetration jumped about 3 feet in the air did a flip and broke the arrow into three peices when it came back down. Pretty hard on arrows, hit em right behind the shoulder from about 25 yards:D
