New hunter
 

I received a text with pics from my cousin today. He took his young son (7 or 8 years old) with him archery hunting in accordance with PA's mentored youth program. Last evening from their ladder stand the young lad shot a dandy 6 point with his Wicked Ridge crossbow. I don't want to post a pic without his permission. But my cousin told me he was shaking more than his son after the shot!

Congrats. I hope to see a pic. I hunted with my son in the mentored youth program for 6 years and they were awesome times. He just turned 12 this summer and has a real license. But, he has 6 years of experience under his belt and lots of memories for our whole family.
