As mentioned....a Grunt Call,Fawn/Doe Call and the little "Can" Caller is about all that's needed and use them sparingly.I have a pair of real Deer Antlers for "Rattling" and it has only did any good a few times!Some times Simple & Light is the way to go! ;) :D

I use calls everytime I hunt, the call I use is dictated by the time of year.. I have been using deer calls since the early 70s, the first call I ever used uas the called "the original Indian deer call" which was a bleat style call..
So to answer your question... No I don't hunt without calls..:deer: |

I only use grunt call. Rattiling does not work much here as the doe population is too big. last year i had some clue less bowhunter snuck into my lil block of woods. I hear can call 27 times in a row!! all i could do was shake my head till after last light and confront him.. which i did..

I personally have never had a call work for me where I hunt, once I rattled a small buck in but anytime i have ever used I never saw anything until next hunting trip
some people i know have luck on occassion but if your seeing why blow where your sitting and get pegged |
