Game cam pics

Here are some of the pics from my game cam.
To say we have a hog problem is an understatement.

In this pic you can see the one that charged me the other Sunday and again last Friday but this time I was ready for him unfortunately I did not get him with my bow.
He is the big one in the back of the pic.

Seeing this nice doe in the area thats over run by the hogs was a plesant surprise.

Mike.
We are going to put a feeder down there next week end and I hate to say this but to get rid of them we are gonna have to have a turkey shoot.
If ya know any one that wants some hog meat let me know.
Unfortunately we are not allowed to take other hunters in there so we will shoot them then hand them over to who ever wants them.

Best thing I did with a hog I shot was a skull mount... think they' re also known as European mounts. Bascially get all the flesh, etc off and have a nice skull with some tusks.

TH

We secured our lease over in East Texas in Marion County the week before opening.
We knew there where some hogs there but no where this many.

I think I gave you my address at one time you should call in one day after work.

I' d love some hog meat if you get any to spare. They really are gonna be all over you when you put out corn feeders. Better tie the legs down to some posts or they will end up on the ground like my buddy' s feeder did. I guess a big one rubbed up against one of his legs a little too hard and the whole thing came crashing down and destroyed his timer and legs.

It' s been my experience that trapping them is the only way to reduce the population. The hogs here are spookier than deer. The locals run em with dogs during the summer.Of course in Texas I think you guys can even hunt them at night if I' m not mistaken.Good luck.

Cajun.
Yes we can hunt them 24 x7 if we want too.
I am thinking about putting some lanterns in that area and doing a little night hunting for them.
They will come into light but spook real quick if you turn a light on them.
