just getting a head count on pat hunters going out and where u are going?

My roommate and I are heading out tomorrow to our 500 acre farm we found near state college.

Rain or shine, hot or cold I think I am in the woods tommorrow. It' s been too long The other day while getting my treestand situated. I sat there perched up 15 feet, in Penns Woods and just thought " It is so nice to be back home" I have been chomping at the bit to get back in the woods.

not me...i thought having a vehicle to take me hunting was more important then a bow for this season so ill wait yet another year.....but i want to wish you all good luck...save a nice one for me in rifle season! i will be out the 18th with the flinter though....good luck guys....i expect some good stories and maybe pics tomarow!!

I' ll be out tommorow morning here in Blair Co. Still havent decided where to go!!

I saw 6 does and one DANDY 2 1/2 year old 8 point last night in an alfalfa field, but I won' t be able to hunt him until next week. I' m headed out right now to see if I can spot him again.

Yeah, I was out, in Carbon County, WMU 4C, but after 2 hrs of soaking rain and 40% temps, I headed back home to sit by the fire and watch the Yanks!

I just got back in myself. If it wasn' t for my brother-in-law returning home from the military today I' d have stayed out till dark. Despite the weather I saw some decent action. They didn' t really start moving until about 9am after the heavier rains had moved through. About 10 deer total. 2 bucks (2x2 and a 3x3), 6 does and 2 yearlings. The 3x3 buck was surprisingly big (I' d guess he was about 2 1/2-3yrs) with nice long tines but legally I had to let him walk. Over here in WMU 2B they' ve got to be 4 pts on at least 1 antler. I' m hoping he shows up again next year. ;) None of the does got within 40 yards of my stand though only 1 of them was a respectable size.
