what broadheads do i need to turkey archery hunt, will my muzzy 4 blades be ok?

As you know a turkey vitals is a very small target to hit, so the most accurate broadhead you can shoot is what works best!! The Rocket 100gr Hammerhead mechanical would work perfect with it' s 2" cut and pin-point accuracy!! That will blow a nice hole in a turkey!!!;)

I' d recommend a large cutting mechanical.

I' ve had success with NAP Spitfires - 1 1/2" cut
and Rocket Sledgehammers - 3 1/2" cut.

...but, as mentioned, shot placement is more
important than the broadhead. It doesn' t matter
what BH you use if you don' t hit them in the
right place. They are really tough birds[>:].

yeah ive heard guys say that from a deerstand they just aim at their heads that way the either die or ur arrow is stuck in the ground, that way they dont run off with ur arrow. thanks guys, ill look into those broadheads.

I took a 125 grain 4 blade head, and cut off two of the blades leaving just enough to make a spur on those two sides. That way, the other two blades do the cutting damage, and the spurs keep the arrow from passing all the way thru. The turkey won' t be able to fly that way, or if he does, not very far. I normally shoot, and have my bow tuned for 100 grain heads. By using a 125 grain head and cutting the blades that way, it' s about 101 grains.
