Pass through
 

Is it possible or has anyone ever had a pass through where there was no hair or blood on the arrow? Inquisitive minds want to know.:)

Can' t see how that would happen... Maybe no hair, but no blood or fluids? Doubtfull...

Well I wouldn' t say none , but I have been getting some wierd results the last few years. I started shooting around 300 fps w/70+ lbs of KE and pass through are incredible.
But I rarely get much blood on my arrows anymore....even on double lung shots !!
There are usually some light streaks and maybe a spot or two of blood or a little hair , but I never get those blood soaked... bright red fletching arrows after a pass through. I shot a deer with my Dad' s bow last year at about 260 fps and got a bloody arrow.......but none of the 4 I shot with my bow did (?) !!


In referrence to below............I personally have never gut shot a deer !!

I personally have never seen a pass through with an arrow that didn' t leave some blood AND hair.

I don' t think its possible....A gut shot pass through may result in a cleaner arrow but something should be on it...

Navy, If you asking me........Rocket Hammerhead 2" cut 3 blades , Spitfire 3 blades 1.5 " cut....RM Snypers 1.5" cut and 1 with a RM Gator 2" cut ! Shot the deer with my dad' s bow with a Muzzy 100 3 blade 1 1/8" cut !

On my end......I don' t want anyone to mistake me saying that I haven' t got much sign on my arrow as that I didn' t get good blood trails. The bloodtrails I got with the Spitfires was unbelievable.....and the Hammerhead was very good !!

I haven' t seen or heard of it. I won' t say it' s not possible though.
