what is a bushing on a bow and where is it located
 
can' t find what a bushing is on a bow and do not know where it is on a bow ..need help

not sure but I' m sure there is bushings or bearings in the cams/wheels.

i believe it is the black piece around the bar going where my idler wheel is turning on.

Unless you are thinking of something else, the bushing is the metal -often brass, insert that is pressed into the center of the bow' s cams/wheels that the bow' s axles ride in.

Why do you ask?

my idler wheel is leaning to the right i beleive that i have a bad bushing i can see a gap in between looks like my bushings their uneven or spread out forsome reason.going to the archery shop thursday to see whats going on .
