Smoked this doe from 39 yds and punched a big hole in her here on Indianas opener had a spike at 10 yards for 15 minutes I gave him a 3 yr pass lol

Congratulations! Freezer Meat right off the bat good job. Went out last night in Lanesville IN. no deer seen but were I hunted something large was bedding down by my tree. The corn sure looked like they have been coming to this spot quite a bit. I bet the Columbus Brown County area is full of Deer see them a lot when in Nashville. My close friends who own a B & B there totalled their SUV hitting a huge Buck last winter so i know they grow em big up there.

Nice job and takes the pressure off a little bit so you can bone hunt now. What kind of broadhead were you using? The hole looks a little odd. Maybe its just where some hair come off or just the angle you were shooting but the pic looks as if the hair was removed from around the wound. Either way congrats and nice looking slick head.

Lol the hair was not removed although now that you say it does kind of look that way ! The shot was very slightly quartering to and it was a rage 2 blade ! The craziest thing is this is the entrance wound the exit is less than half that size usually the opposite . Doe train there are some really good deer around this area but as far as sheer number of deer it's hard to beat brown county there's a ton out there ! I kill every slick head that's decent sized I can me and my family eat em all I do like to put one down that's packing some bone to ! Good luck to you all !

Good Job on a nice doe... I cant seem to get a shot at anything. They come in and leave before it get light enough. All I can di is watch. I have my eye on a pretty big doe, I think she is pushing 200 pounds.
